HEART DISEASE : DISEASE AND TREATMENT

Ischemic heart disease is the state of various etiologies, causing an imbalance between myocardial oxygen supply and demand. The most common causes of myocardial ischemia is atherosclerosis. Drugs commonly used are Anti angina (nitrate, beta inhibitors, calcium channel inhibitors) and acetosal. Nitrate compounds may cause vasodilation, and ultimately lead to decreased demand and increased supply of oxygen. This condition can reduce the pain.

In an acute attack of angina (chest pain incidence of severe heart disease) are given a combination of two kinds Anti angina (with the aim of improving the effectiveness and reduce side effects) and acetosal. If an attack of angina did not improve on providing a combination of two kinds Anti angina, it can be given a combination of three kinds Anti angina. Anti angina used because it can decrease myocardial oxygen demand and increase supply so that the balance between myocardial oxygen supply and oxygen needs met. Acetosal used because it can prevent or reduce platelet aggregation, thereby increasing blood flow is not obstructed. But the latest modern technology to find new ways to handle problems that arise angina pectoris, for example by giving a sedative treatment groups and types of morphine. And if all this medication treatments have not succeeded in overcoming the existing complaints, should be considered too invasive measures such as cardiac surgery.
